FABRICATION WORKFLOWS · HUMAN REVIEWED

Messy briefs in. Build-ready scope packs out.

Offsider turns scattered enquiries into clear scope, useful questions and visible risk. Built inside a working fabrication studio. Checked by a human before it moves.

Private working sessions for specialist fabricators and design-to-build teams.

WHAT ARRIVEDWHAT YOUR TEAM NEEDS
01 THE PACK

Useful before it is impressive.

A scope pack is not a render dump. It gives the commercial and production team a shared view of the job, including what is still unknown.

01

A brief your estimator can use

Emails, drawings, reference images and site notes organised into one clear record.

02

The questions still unanswered

Missing dimensions, finishes, access, approvals and timing surfaced before they become assumptions.

03

Buildability and scope risk

Fabrication, engineering, logistics, install and exclusion flags reviewed through a practical lens.

04

Numbers with provenance

Commercial numbers use approved sources. Anything unresolved stays unresolved and visible.

05

A clean internal handover

The next person can see what arrived, what changed, what is missing and what needs a decision.

06

Human approval built in

Nothing client-facing or commercially consequential moves without a named person approving it.

02 THE RUN

Start with one difficult enquiry.

No platform rollout. No generic demo. We use a real workflow, make the approval points explicit and see whether the result is worth keeping.

01

Send it as it arrived

Forward the email, PDFs, drawings, images and notes. No new portal. No tidy-up job first.

02

We organise and interrogate it

The system extracts the facts, finds the gaps and applies a fabricator's eye to scope and risk.

03

You review the pack

Your team gets a structured starting point, with open questions and approval points made obvious.

03 THE ORIGIN

Built where the work gets built.

Offsider grew out of Trade Arts, a working design-to-fabrication studio in northern NSW.

The starting point is practical judgement: what can be made, what has been missed, what needs to be priced and what could hurt the job later.

The tools matter. The workshop knowledge around them matters more.

04 YOUR MATERIAL

Clear rules before client files arrive.

Each client's material and commercial knowledge is kept separate.

Numbers use approved sources, with provenance visible to the reviewer.

External and commercially consequential actions require named human approval.

Tools, access, retention and deletion conditions are agreed before work starts.

The operating detail is documented for each engagement. Claims are limited to controls that are implemented and verified.

ONE REAL WORKFLOW

Bring us the brief everyone keeps avoiding.

We will use it to show what Offsider can organise, what still needs a human and whether the process earns a place in your business.
